The popularity of Royal Selangor's Autumn 2006 introduction of Himalaya has encouraged the brand to unfold the design into a series of wine collections for 2007.
The Himalaya design is energized by regions of extreme yet contrasting weather conditions; with the motif based on striped Tibetan rugs and the bark of birch trees. Each item features "ring-shaped bands" of highly polished surface, contrasted with bands of stained textured surface. The strong, modern design gives the collection a sleek and contemporary feel.
Its collection consists of funnels, corkscrews, wine stoppers, wine pourers, bottle coasters and an ice buckets just to name a few. The Himalaya Wine is a reflection of Royal Selangor's modern take on pewter. |
